Tại sao peel giúp điều trị mụn?

Why does peeling help treat acne?
Acne forms when pores become clogged with dead skin cells, sebum, and bacteria. Chemical peels use acids — most commonly Salicylic Acid (BHA) — to penetrate deep into pores, break down blockages, and control acne-causing bacteria.

Salicylic Acid (BHA): First choice for acne — oil-soluble, penetrates pores, naturally antibacterial
Glycolic Acid (AHA): Combined with BHA to exfoliate surface cells and even out post-acne marks
Decaar Algae Peel: Ideal for sensitive acne-prone skin — gentle but effective
Are you ready to peel?
Good candidates: Basic acne, blackheads, closed comedones, mild to moderate inflammatory acne, post-acne marks. Proceed with caution: Severe inflammatory acne, deep cystic acne — professional extractions before peeling often delivers better results. Not yet: Currently on Roaccutane, open wounds on the face, skin irritated from sudden product changes.

How soon will you see results?
The most noticeable improvement typically comes after sessions 3–4. Standard protocol: 5–6 sessions, spaced 3–4 weeks apart. After that, one session every 6–8 weeks for maintenance.
⚠️ After a peel, absolutely no manual extraction for at least 72 hours — skin is at peak sensitivity and the risk of infection and scarring is very high.

Mild scattered inflammatory acne can still be peeled with the right type — in fact the right peel helps reduce inflammation and prevent spreading. Severe inflammatory acne, multiple cystic lesions or current isotretinoin use contraindicate peeling. Hana assesses carefully before each session.
